Azizah Ismail, the wife of jailed former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, signs an application to register her pro-reform group ADIL (Justice), on Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998 in Kuala Lumpur. She appealed to the government Saturday to release Anwar on bail during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Azizah's group plans to seek greater political freedom in the Southeast Asian Nation.
