Azizah Ismail, center, wife of ousted Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, is decorated with the Rizal's Women of Malolos Award by Rogelio Quiambao, right, and assisted by her daughter Nurrul Izzah Wednesday, April 28, 1999 at the Order of the Knights of Rizal's office in Manila. The award, in the name of the country's national hero, Jose Rizal, the first ever given to a foreigner, was conveyed by the organization's recognition of her fight for justice, freedom and democracy. Azizah was invited as a personal guest of former President Corazon Aquino - a leader of the people power revolt.
